Hi all, I am  IZ0EAN Daniele Tumminello. My passion for the radio started on 1989 on the cb band.  

I discovered soon the passion for the DX so i decided to step up and get the licence of ham radio. On 1993 i got the license, my first callsign from 1993-2001 was IT9SSB, after i relocated in Rome i got a new callsign IZ0EAN.  

I am still active from IT9, Sicily island  during my vacation as IT9/IZ0EAN.

I love the homemade  of HF antenna, rig mod improvement and repair, and everething related to the RF world.

I am a "fan" of the H-Mode mixer of my friend Gian I7SWX. I have modified  my main rig ICOM IC-775 DSP replacing the 2° Mixer with the H-Mode and other mods developed from my friends Gian I7SWX & Nick IZ7ANL. Also my Elecraft K2 have been modified replacing the 1° mixer with a robust I7SWX H-mode Mixer plus Diplexer + homemade roofing filter, in the web site you will find dedicated pages for that.

I work as Senior Field Service Engineer at Varian Medical Systems, doing service on linear accelerator used  for the radiation therapy, to "destroy" the cancer.
